AGRICULTURE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Rick Hansen, Co-Chair of the Committee on Agriculture Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on, Monday, April 7, 2025, in Room G3 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Smith moved that the minutes of April 2, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2446 (Anderson) Department of Agriculture, Board of Animal Health, and Agricultural Utilization Research Institute budget established; policy and technical changes made to agriculture provisions; fees modified and established; civil penalties provided; money transferred; and money appropriated.

Chair Anderson presented the H2446DE4 amendment to HF 2446 on an informational basis.

Non-Partisan staff provided an overview of the H2446DE4 amendment and the fiscal spreadsheet.

The meeting adjourned at 1:26 P.M.
