AGRICULTURE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Andy Smith, Co-Vice Chair of the Committee on Agriculture Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M., on Monday, April 13, 2026, in Room G3 of the Minnesota State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Frederick moved to approve the minutes from April 8, 2026. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 858 (Vang); Additional information required from bioincentive payment recipients.

Representative Vang moved that HF 858 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Representative Vang presented HF 858.

Co-Chair Hansen moved that HF 2577 be laid over for possible inclusion.

HF 2576 (Hansen, R.); Burning of pesticide containers prohibited.

Co-Chair Hansen moved that HF 2576 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Co-Chair Hansen presented HF 2576.
