CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FINANCE POLICY MEETING MINUTES

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn, Co-Chair of the Children and Families Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 5:15 PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2025 in Room 123 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Nelson moved the minutes of April 9, 2025. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2436 (West) - Children and Families Budget Bill

Chair West moved that HF2436 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair West moved the HF2436DE1.

Representative Nadeau moved the A9 amendment to the DE1.

Representative Nadeau requested a roll call.

Representative Nadeau renewed the motion to adopt the A9 amendment to the DE1.

Chair Kotyza-Witthuhn recessed the committee at 5:43 PM

Chair West moved the A25 Amendment to the DE1.

House Nonpartisan Staff provided an informational overview and walkthrough of the A25
amendment.

Chair West moved that the A25 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE
AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair West renewed his motion that the DE1 amendment as amended be adopted. THE
MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Kotyza-Witthuhn moved that HF2436 as amended be re-referred to the Committee on

Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:18 PM.
