CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FINANCE POLICY MEETING MINUTES

Representative West and Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn, Co-Chairs of the Children and Families Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:03 PM on March 3, 2026 in Room 123 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Coulter moved the minutes of February 25, 2025. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3542 (Hudson) Disclosure of certain investigations and withholding of payments.

Representative Hudson moved HF3542 before the committee.

Representative Hudson moved the HF3542 DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice Nelson assumed the gavel 4:21.

HF3819 (West) Licensing inspection requirements for childcare providers modified.

Co-Chair West moved HF 3819 be referred to the Judiciary Committee.

Co-Chair West moved the HF3819A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
