MINUTES

Representative Erin Koegel, Co-Chair of the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. The meeting was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Finke moved that the minutes from February 19, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

SF1750 (Lucero) Common interest communities rights and duties modified, unit owner rights modified, termination threshold modified, meet and confer process established, notice of meetings modified, and governing bodies prohibited from requiring or incentivizing creation of homeowners associations.

Co-Chair Koegel moved that SF1750 be laid over.

Co-Chair Koegel moved the S1750DE9 amendment to SF1750. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
