COMMERCE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES
Representative Erin Koegel, Co-Chair of the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. The meeting was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

Representative Finke moved that the minutes from March 26th, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF4456 (Elkins) Data brokers required to register with the attorney general, account established, enforcement and civil penalties provided, and money appropriated.
Representative Elkins moved that HF4456 be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.
Representative Elkins moved the H4456A1 amendment to HF4456. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Elkins presented HF4456, as amended.
