MINUTES

Representative Kresha, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, began the meeting at 1:00PM, on March 10, 2026, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lawrence moved the minutes of March 5, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Invest in Education presented on a Federal Tax Credit for Scholarship Granting Organizations:

HF3490 (MYERS) SCHOLARSHIP-GRANTING ORGANIZATIONS AUTHORIZED.

Chair Kresha moved HF3490 before the committee.

Chair Kresha moved the H3490A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Kresha moved the H3490A4 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Myers presented on HF3490, as amended.
