MINUTES

Representative Kresha, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, began the meeting at 1:00PM, on April 14, 2026, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF3493 (LAWRENCE) - SAFE SCHOOLS REVENUE INCREASED; SAFE SCHOOLS REVENUE AVAILABLE TO CHARTER SCHOOLS, COOPERATIVE UNITS, NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS, AND TRIBAL CONTRACT SCHOOLS MADE; AND MONEY APPROPRIATED.

Representative Lawrence moved that HF3493 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Lawrence moved the H3493DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
