EDUCATION POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Sydney Jordan, Chair of the Committee on Education Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in Room G23 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice-Chair Hill moved that the minutes from April 2, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice-Chair Hill assumed the gavel at 3:03 PM.

HF3435 (Jordan) Access to school sites limited.

Chair Jordan moved that HF 3435 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Jordan moved the DE1 amendment to HF 3435. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
