EDUCATION POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
Representative Sydney Jordan, Chair of the Committee on Education Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:01 PM on, Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in Room G23 of the State Capitol Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Roach moved that the minutes from March 17, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 3714 (Clardy) Enrollment and eligibility priority modified for children in foster care for various children, youth, and families education and financial assistance programs; Northstar foster care child care allowance modified; and licensing agencies required to provide license holders with information about child care costs and early childhood education programs.
Chair Jordan moved that HF 3714 be re-referred to the Committee on Education Finance.
Chair Jordan moved the A3 amendment to HF 3714.
Representative Clardy presented the A3 amendment to HF 3714.
Chair Jordan renewed the motion to adopt the A3 amendment to HF 3714. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
