HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NINETY-FOURTH SESSION


ELECTIONS FINANCE AND GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Liz Lee, DFL Vice Chair of the Elections Finance and Government Operations Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM on April 9th, 2025, in Room G23 of the Capitol Building.

The clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Coulter moved that the minutes from April 2nd, 2025, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1943 (Freiberg) Money transferred from the general fund to the Help America Vote Act account.

Representative Freiberg moved that HF 1943 be re-referred to the Ways and Means committee.

Representative Freiberg moved the H1943DE1 amendment to HF 1943.

Representative Freiberg presented the H1943DE1 amendment.

Representative Freiberg renewed the motion that the H1943DE1 amendment to HF 1943 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Freiberg renewed the motion that HF 1943, as amended, be re-referred to the Ways and Means committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:06 PM.
