HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NINETY-FOURTH SESSION
ELECTIONS FINANCE AND GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES
Representative Mike Freiberg, Co-Chair of the Elections Finance and Government Operations Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:38 PM on February 25th, 2026, in Room G23 of the Capitol Building.

Representative Lee moved that the minutes from February 23rd, 2026, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 3351 (Pinto) State preemption of local units of government regulating firearms repealed.
Representative Freiberg brought HF 3351 before the committee.
Representative Freiberg moved that HF 3351 be re-referred to the Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee.
Representative Pinto presented HF 3351.

Representative Greenman requested a roll call vote on the motion to re-refer.
Representative Freiberg renewed the motion to re-refer HF 3351 to the Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee.
