MINUTES

Representative Backer, Chair of the Health Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:01PM, on ¬¬¬¬¬March 24, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF2371 (Robbins) Informed consent for sensitive examinations performed on an anesthetized or unconscious patient required, and criminal penalty provided.

Chair Backer moved HF2371 before the committee to be rereferred to the Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair Backer moved to adopt the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1165 (Bahner) Minnesota Higher Education Facilities Authority restructured and renamed to Minnesota Health and Education Facilities Authority, authority to reconstruct and finance health care facilities authorized, and bonding capacity increased.

Representative Bahner moved HF1165 before the committee to be rereferred to the Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee.
