HEALTH FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Liz Reyer, Vice Chair of the Health Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, March 2nd, 2026, in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF3668 (Bierman); Office of gun violence prevention established in the Department of Health, report required, and money appropriated.

Chair Bierman moved that HF3668 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Chair Bierman presented HF3668.

Chair Bierman renewed the motion that HF3668 to be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.
Chair Bierman assumed the gavel at 2:08 P.M.

HF2779 (Reyer); Health care entities required to report information on ownership or control to the commissioner of health, annual public reports required, enforcement provided, penalties authorized, and money appropriated.

Vice Chair Reyer moved that HF2779 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Chair Bierman moved to adopt the DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice Chair Reyer presented HF2779, as amended.
