MINUTES

Representative Backer, Chair of the Health Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM, on March 18th, 2026, in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Perryman moved the minutes of March 11th, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4048 (Robbins) Gross receipts tax on hospitals and health care providers;
licensed chiropractors excluded from the providers subject to the tax.

Representative Perryman moved HF 4048 before the Committee.

Representative Perryman moved that HF 4048 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

and civil penalties provided.

Vice-Chair Nadeau moved HF 3893 before the Committee.

Vice-Chair Nadeau moved that HF 3893 be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.

Vice-Chair Nadeau moved the H3893A2 amendment before the Committee. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
