Representative Backer, Chair of the Health Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM, on April 13th, 2026, in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Perryman moved the minutes of April 8th, 2026 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 4712 (Schultz) Use of private residential pools for certified swimming classes
authorized.
Representative Dippel moved HF 4712 before the committee.
Representative Perryman moved the H4712DE2 amendment before the committee. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Backer laid over HF 4712, as amended, for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
HF 4801 (Nadeau) Provisions governing prior authorization of health care services
modified, and managed care contracts under medical assistance modified.
