HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Nathan Coulter, Vice Chair of the Committee on Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:01 PM on March 5, 2026, in Room Capitol G23 in the State Capitol Building.

Representative Noor moved the minutes of March 3, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation on the agreement between the University of Minnesota, Fairview Health Services, and University of Minnesota Physicians

• Dr. Rebecca Cunningham: President, University of Minnesota
• Carol Bradford: Interim Dean of the Medical School and Interim Executive Vice President for Health Affairs, University of Minnesota
• Dr. Greg Beilman: Chief Executive Officer, University of Minnesota Physicians
• James Hereford: President and Chief Executive Officer, Fairview Health Services
