HOUSING FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Michael Howard, Chair of the Committee on Housing Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in Room G3 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Igo moved that the minutes of April 9, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3403 (Kozlowski) A bill for an act relating to taxation; local government aids; establishing a onetime emergency rental assistance aid for counties; appropriating money.

Vice-Chair Kozlowski moved that HF 3403 be re-referred to the committee on Ways and Means.

Vice-Chair Kozlowski moved the A1 amendment to HF 3403. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice-Chair Kozlowski presented HF 3403 as amended.

Chair Howard moved that HF 3410 be re-referred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee.

Chair Howard moved the A1 amendment to HF 3410. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Sencer-Mura presented HF 3410 as amended.
