HOUSING FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael Howard, Chair of the Committee on Housing Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, in Room G3 of the Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Dotseth moved that the minutes of April 8th, 2025, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2445 (Igo) — Minnesota Housing Finance Agency budget established, and money appropriated.

Chair Igo moved HF 2445 before the committee.

Chair Igo moved the DE2 amendment before the committee.

Chair Howard moved the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Howard presented an overview of the A5 amendment.

Chair Howard withdrew the A5 amendment.

Chair Howard moved the A4 amendment.. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Howard moved the DE2, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Howard moved that HF 2445, as amended, be rereferred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The committee adjourned at 3:39 P.M.
