HOUSING FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Michael Howard, Chair of the Committee on Housing Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:01 P.M. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in Room G3 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Howard moved that the minutes of February 24, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation by Minnesota Housing Partnership on the state of housing.

Presentation on Supportive Housing in Minnesota.

Chair Howard moved that HF 3425 be re-referred to the committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Howard moved the DE1 amendment to HF 3425. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Igo moved the A1 amendment to HF 3425 as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Howard presented HF 3425 as amended.

Chair Howard moved that HF 3424, as amended, be re-referred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee.

Representative Agbaje presented HF 3424 as amended.

Vice-Chair Kozlowski moved the DE1 amendment to HF 1385. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice Chair Kozlowski presented HF 1385 as amended.
