HOUSING FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Liish Kozlowski, Vice Co-Chair of the Committee on Housing Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Room G3 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice-Chair Kozlowski moved that the minutes of April 7, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3279 (Howard) - Sales tax rate increased by three-eighths of one percent and receipts dedicated for housing purposes; homeownership opportunity fund, community and household stability fund, and rental opportunity fund created; fund councils created; appointments provided; reports required; and constitutional amendment proposed.

Chair Howard moved HF 3279 before the committee.

Rep. Norris moved the A1 amendment to HF 1417. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Norris presented HF 1417 as amended.
