MINUTES

Representative Gander, member of the Human Service Finance and Policy Committee, began the meeting at 8:15 AM on March 24, 2026, in Room 123 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was not present.

Representative Gander called the meeting to order at 8:16 AM. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Schomacker moved HF4491 before the committee to be laid over.

HF4338 (Schomacker) Parties who may be awarded fees and expenses in proceedings involving the state modified, requirements for assisted living facilities to provide residents with a means to request assistance modified, and assisted living facilities exempted from the provider tax.

Chair Schomacker moved the H4338A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
