MINUTES

Representative Scott, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:16 AM, on ¬¬¬¬February 26th, 2026, in Room G3 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF3676 (Nash) Protections and remedies provided and various provisions modified of the Safe at Home program, and criminal penalties established.

Chair Scott moved HF3676 be re-referred to the Committee on State Government Finance & Policy.

Chair Scott moved to adopt the A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Liebling moved the A2 amendment before the committee.

Chair Liebling withdrew the A2 amendment.

Chair Scott renewed the motion that HF3676, as amended, be re-referred to the committee on State Government Finance and Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Hudson assumed the gavel at 10:38AM

HF2959 (Scott) Data protection requirements in certain property tax proceedings modified.

Chair Scott moved HF2959 before the committee
