MINUTES

Representative Scott, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:16 AM, on ¬¬¬¬March 24th, 2026, in Room G3 of the Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Moller moved the minutes of March 17th, 2025 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 3951 (Igo) Submetered utility service final billing for vacating
tenants provided, and provisions related to the payment of rent by
tenants modified.

Chair Scott moved that HF3874 be placed on the General Register.

corrected; and redundant, conflicting, and superseded provisions
removed.

Chair Scott moved that HF4057 be placed on the General Register.

Jeff Kase of the Revisor’s Office gave an overview of HF4057.

Chair Scott renewed the motion that HF4057 be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 4293 (Scott) Provisions related to parenting time determinations
amended.

Chair Scott moved HF4293 be laid over.
