MINUTES

Representative Baker, Chair of the Workforce, Labor, and Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:04 AM, on Wednesday February 18th, 2026, in Room G3 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

Members excused:

Chair Pinto moved the minutes of May 6th, 2025 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3393 (Igo) Iron ore mining additional unemployment benefits program.

Chair Baker moved HF3393 before the committee.

Representative Johnson, P moved to adopt the H3393A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Mike Jogovich, County Commissioner District 7 and Board Chair, St. Louis County

Chair Baker renewed the motion that HF3393, as amended, be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:35 AM.
