WORKFORCE, LABOR, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Dave Pinto, Chair of the Committee on Workforce, Labor, and Economic Development Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 8:18 A.M. on, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Room G3 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Baker moved that the minutes of March 12, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1316 (Curran) Independent contractors and payors added to the centralized work reporting system, and payors required to report independent contractors to the centralized work reporting system.

Representative Frazier moved that HF 1316 be placed on the General Register

Representative Frazier moved the H1316A4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Curran presented HF 1316 as amended
