WORKFORCE, LABOR, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Dave Pinto, Chair of the Committee on Workforce, Labor, and Economic Development Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 8:17 A.M. on, Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in Room G3 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Mekeland moved that the minutes of March 18, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4097 (Frazier) Money transferred for emerging entrepreneur loan program

Representative Frazier moved HF 4097 before the committee

Representative Frazier moved the H4097A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Frazier presented HF 4097 as amended.

Testifying on HF 4097 as amended:

Representative Berg moved that HF 3878 to be re-referred to the State Government Finance and Policy Committee.

Representative Berg moved the H3878DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
