WORKFORCE, LABOR, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Dave Pinto, Chair of the Committee on Workforce, Labor, and Economic Development Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 8:16 A.M. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Room G3 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Chair Baker moved that the minutes of April 15, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3732 (Pinto) - Different unfunded programs of the Department of Employment and Economic Development repealed, and conforming changes made.

Chair Baker moved to reconsider adoption of H3732DE1. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Pinto withdrew the H3732DE1.

Chair Baker moved the H3732DE2 amendment.

Testifying on the H3732DE2 amendment:
• Josiah Moore, Department of Labor and Industry

Vice Chair Greenman moved H3732A4 amendment to the H3732DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, TO THE AMENDMENT, WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Frazier moved H3732A2 amendment to the H3732DE2 amendment as amended.

Representative Schultz requested a roll call on the H3732A2 amendment.

The clerk took the roll on the H3732A2 amendment:

Chair Baker renewed the motion of the H3732DE2 amendment as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Baker moved that HF 3732, as amended, to be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED
