MINUTES

Representative Niska, Co-Chair of the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:01 AM, on April 30th, 2026, in Room G3 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.


The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Pursell moved that the minutes from April 28th, 2026, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Niska moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day as amended pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Monday, May 4th, 2026, for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1849 (Gordon) - Term limits provided for governor and lieutenant governor, and constitutional amendment proposed.

Chair Niska moved that HF1849 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Niska renewed the motion that HF1849 be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:06 AM.
