MINUTES

Representative Jamie Long, Co-Chair of the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM on April 28th, 2026, in Room G-3 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Niska moved the minutes from April 23rd, 2026, be adopted, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Thursday April 30th, 2026, for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HFXXXX(Hollins) Universal pretrial release provided except in certain circumstances, monetary bail prohibited, and constitutional amendment proposed.
Vice Chair Hollins presented HFXXXX on an informational basis.
