Representative Jamie Long, Co-Chair of the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM on May 7th, 2026, in Room G-3 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Coulter moved the minutes from May 5th, 2026, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Monday, May 11th, 2026, for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Long Pursuant to Joint Rule 2.03 moved to refer HF 4598 to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
