MINUTES

Representative Jamie Long, Co-Chair of the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, called the meeting to order at 11:28 AM on May 14th, 2026, in Room G-3 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Hollins moved the minutes from May 12th, 2026, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Saturday 16th, 2026, for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4172 (Klevorn) Uses of legislative email, telephone numbers, and office space restricted.
Chair Long moved HF 4172 before the committee.
Chair Long moved the DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Klevorn presented HF 4172, as amended
Representative Howard requested a roll call.
Chair Long moved that HF 4172, as amended be referred to the General Registrar.
The clerk took the roll.
