STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Kristen Bahner, Vice Co-Chair of the State Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 A.M. on April 10, 2025, in Room G23 of the Minnesota State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Sexton moved to approve the minutes from April 8, 2025. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2783 (Klevorn); Code of ethics for legislative branch established; payment withholding if credible allegation of fraud exists allowed; authority to share data regarding fraud in public programs granted; renewable energy improvement, storage projects, and EVSE projects provided; and money appropriated.

Co-Chair Klevorn moved that HF2783, as amended on April 8, 2025, be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Co-Chair Klevorn moved to adopt the A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Co-Chair Klevorn and Co-Chair Nash co-presented HF2783, as amended.

Testifying on the bill:
• Rosa Tock, Executive Director, Minnesota Council on Latino Affairs

Co-Chair Klevorn renewed the motion that HF2783, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
