MINUTES

Representative Nash, Chair of the State Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM, on April 14th, 2026, in Room G23 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davis moved the minutes of April 9th, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The following individuals gave a presentation on the U.S. Bank stadium & Downtown East Development Economic Impact Study:

Michael Vekich, Chair, Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority
Robin Hunden, President and CEO, Hunden Partners (Zoom)

Co-Vice Chair Davis assumed the gavel at 9:06 AM.

The following individuals gave a space utilization update from the Department of Administration:

Greg Ewig, Director, Real Estate and Construction Services, Department of Administration
Wayne Waslaski, Assistant Commissioner, Department of Administration

Co-Chair Nash assumed the gavel at 9:10 AM.

The following individual gave an update of the State Office Building:
Eric Radel, Construction Operations Manager, Department of Administration

HF 4912 (Witte) Electronic pull-tab revenue dedicated for support of the Minnesota-bred Thoroughbred industry, and money appropriated.
The committee held an informational hearing on HF 4912 (Witte).
