STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES
Representative Kristin Bahner, Vice Co-Chair of the State Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 a.m. on March 12, 2026, in Room G23 of the State Capitol Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice-Chair Bahner moved approval of the minutes from March 10, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF3455 (Klevorn) State Office Building renamed after Melissa Hortman.
Vice-Chair Bahner moved that HF3455 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
Vice-Chair Bahner moved the A1 amendment to HF3455.
Vice-Chair Bahner renewed the motion to adopt the A1 amendment to HF3455. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Klevorn presented HF3455 as amended.

HF3936 (Klevorn) Greater Minnesota public television station operations funding provided, and money appropriated.
Vice-Chair Bahner moved that HF3936 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
Vice-Chair Bahner moved the A1 amendment to HF3936.
Vice-Chair Bahner renewed the motion to adopt the A1 amendment to HF3936. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Klevorn presented HF3936 as amended.

Co-Chair Klevorn moved that HF3860 be re-referred to the General Register.

Co-Chair Klevorn moved that HF3656 be re-referred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.

Representative Luger-Nikolai introduced HF4060. The bill was withdrawn for further discussion and no action was taken.
