TAXES COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Aisha Gomez, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:16 A.M. on April 9, 2026, in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Joy moved the minutes of April 8, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4841 (Agbaje) Hennepin County local sales tax authority modified, and grants provided to county health care facilities and to ballpark authority for improvements.

Representative Agbaje moved that HF4841 be laid over for possible inclusion in the 2026 Taxes Bill.

Representative Agbaje presented HF4841.
