MINUTES

Representative Brad Tabke, Co-Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Greene moved that the minutes of March 11, 2026, be approved.

An error was noted in the minutes of March 11, 2026.

The motion prevails and the minutes as corrected by the Committee Legislative Assistant were approved.

HF 3515 (Koznick) Autonomous vehicles regulated.

Chair Koznick moved to take HF 3513, as amended, off the table. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Tabke laid over HF 3513, as amended.

HF 3919 (Cha) Benefits available to veterans of the Secret War in Laos modified, commissioner of veterans affairs directed to establish an eligibility process, and technical changes made.

Chair Tabke moved that HF 3919 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Kraft moved the H3919A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Tabke renewed the motion that HF 3919, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3791 (Greene) Security and protective services of certain state officials provided, report required, and money appropriated.

Representative Greene moved that HF 3791 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Anderson moved the H3791A3 amendment.

Representative Greene and Anderson presented the H3791A3 amendment.

Representative Anderson renewed the motion to adopt the H3791A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Greene renewed the motion that HF 3791, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Tabke moved that HF 1781 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
