MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:30PM on April 23rd, 2025, in Room 120 of the Capitol. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice-Chair Agbaje moved the minutes of April 22nd, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2431 (Wolgamott) – Omnibus Higher Education budget bill

Chair Torkelson moved that HF2431 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Torkelson moved the HF2431A2 amendment to the HF2431DE4 amendment. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Torkelson moved the HF2431DE4 amendment, as amended. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Torkelson renewed the motion that HF2431, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2438 (Koznick) – Omnibus Transportation budget bill

Chair Torkelson moved that HF2438 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Torkelson moved the HF2438A21 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Torkelson renewed the motion that HF2438, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2783 (Klevorn) – Omnibus State Government budget bill

Chair Torkelson moved HF2783 before the committee.

Representative Klevorn moved the HF2783A4 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Torkelson moved that HF2783, as amended, be laid over.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:42PM.
