WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Cedrick Frazier, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 5:15PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in Room 120 of the Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Torkelson moved the minutes of March 23, 2026 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3475 (Hansen) Per diem compensation modified for Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council officers and Agricultural Utilization Research Institute board of directors.

Chair Frazier moved HF3475 be placed on the general register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

SF3832 (Nelson) Eligibility for the Dairy Assistance, Investment, Relief Initiative (DAIRI) program modified.

Chair Frazier moved SF3832 be placed on the general register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3917 (Mahamoud) Medication repository program procedures modified, and an appropriation modified.

HF3593 (Jacob) Zumbrota; portion of marked Trunk Highway 58 designated as “Officer/Firefighter Gary L. Schroeder, Jr. Memorial Highway.”

Chair Frazier moved HF3593 be placed on the general register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
