Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15am on April 20th, 2026, in Room 120 of the Capitol. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice-Chair Agbaje moved the minutes of April 13th, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3489 (Bennett)– Field trip policy established, reporting to licensing boards required, and criminal offense of grooming established.

Chair Torkelson moved that HF3489 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Torkelson moved the HF3489A6 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
