WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Cedrick Frazier, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 1:02 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in Room 120 of the Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Torkelson moved the minutes of April 20, 2026. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1141 (Howard) Minnesota Housing Finance Agency supplemental budget established, bonds issued, Minnesota Housing Finance Agency authority modified over the housing development fund, reports required, money transferred, and money appropriated.

Chair Frazier moved HF1141 be placed on the general register.

Representative Igo moved the HF1141A5 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Frazier renewed the motion to place HF1141 as amended on the general register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4372 (Vang) Meat processing training and retention incentive grantees allowed more time to complete projects.

Representative Vang moved HF4372 be placed on the general register.

HF4222 (Gottfried) State parks; acquisition provisions modified, state parks added to and deleted from, and sales and conveyances of state and county lands authorized.

Chair Frazier moved HF4222 be placed on the general register.

Chair Frazier moved the HF4222A6 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
