FRAUD PREVENTION AND STATE AGENCY OVERSIGHT POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Robbins, Chair of the Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16am on Monday, April 13, 2026, in room G3 of the State Capitol. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Schultz moved that the minutes of April 7, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The committee heard presentations regarding the Governor’s anti-fraud proposals from the Department of Human Services (DHS), Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB), the Department of Administration, the Department of Education, the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), the Department of Children, Youth, and Families, and the Minnesota Council of Health Plans.

The committee heard testimony regarding Charter Schools, followed by member discussion.
