FRAUD PREVENTION AND STATE AGENCY OVERSIGHT POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Robbins, Chair of the Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:16 pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in room 120 of the State Capitol. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Vice-Chair Anderson moved that the minutes of April 13, 2026, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The committee heard testimony regarding Charter schools, followed by member discussion.

The committee heard presentations from the Office of the Legislative Auditor and the Minnesota Department of Education regarding the federal nutrition program sponsor, Feeding Our Future.

Testifiers:

- Katherine Theisen, Deputy Legislative Auditor for the Special Reviews Division, Office of the Legislative Auditor
- Bill Glahn, Center for the American Experiment
- Maren Hulden, Deputy Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Education

The meeting was adjourned at 3:04 pm.
