Starting Line: Making it easier to access information on family child care

Finding information or assistance related to family day care can sometimes be difficult — whether you’re a parent looking for child care options, or a daycare provider. 

Rep. Erin Koegel (DFL-Spring Lake Park) says she wants to make it easier for those in need of assistance related to family child care licensing and regulation, by creating an ombudsperson for family child care programs.

This week on Starting Line, Rep. Koegel talks to us about HF4298 and why she feels it is important to provide one-stop access to some who are looking for family child care help.
