HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES REFORM COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Mack, Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:46 P.M. on February 3rd, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Mack called the meeting to order at 2:46 P.M. A quorum was not present.

A quorum was present at 2:55 P.M.

Representative Albright moved that the minutes of January 28, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Mack moved H.F. 211 be re-referred to the Committee on Greater Minnesota Economic and Workforce Development.

Representative Kiel presented H.F. 211.

Testifying on H.F. 211 were Steve Gottwalt, Executive Director of Minnesota Rural Health Association, Shauna Reitmeier, Executive Director, Northwestern Mental Health Center (Crookston), Aaron Schindler, Heather Heathcote Luebben, Apple Tree Dental, Mark Schoenbaum, Director of Office of Rural Health, Minnesota Department of Health, Jeanne Anderson, Minnesota Dental Hygiene Educators Association, Sue Adberholden, National Alliance for Mental Health, Melissa Haley from Autism Treatment MN, and Kathleen Picard, Minnesota Physical Therapy Association.

Representative Mack renewed her motion for H.F. 211 to be re-referred to the Committee on Greater Minnesota Economic and Workforce Development. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:19 P.M.
