CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Patty Acomb, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:01 PM on March 27, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Kraft moved that the minutes from March 26, 2024 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4938 (Hollins) - Anaerobic digestor energy system funding provided, and money appropriated

Representative Hollins moved that HF 4938 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Representative Hollins moved the A1 amendment to HF 4938. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hollins presented HF 4938 as amended.

Representative Hollins renewed her motion that HF 4938 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion.

HF 4759 (Acomb) - Geothermal energy system grant award program established for political subdivisions to assess feasibility of installation.

Chair Acomb moved the A2 amendment to HF 4759. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Acomb moved that HF 4759 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion.

Chair Acomb presented HF 4759 as amended.
