CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Patty Acomb, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:02 PM on April 2, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Kraft moved that the minutes from March 27, 2024 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 5171 (Carroll) – Program to award financial incentives to permitting authorities that install an automated software system to review and issue permits for residential solar energy projects established, account established, and money appropriated.

Representative Carroll moved that HF 5171 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Representative Carroll moved the A1 amendment to HF 5171. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Carroll presented HF 5171 as amended.

Representative Kraft moved that HF 4242 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Representative Kraft moved the A7 amendment to HF 4242. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Kraft presented HF 4242 as amended.
