HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NINETY-THIRD SESSION

COMMERCE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Carlie Kotyza-Witthuhn, Vice-Chair of the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on April 8, 2024, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Klevorn moved to approve the minutes for April 3, 2024. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4461 (Hollins); License to sell copper metal required.

Vice Chair Kotyza-Witthuhn moved that HF4461 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means

Vice Chair Kotyza-Witthuhn moved the A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hollins presented HF4461 as amended.

HF5274 (Stephenson); Conduct of advance deposit wagering, card playing, and pari-mutuel betting provided; definitions provided; and clarifying and conforming changes made.

Chair Stephenson moved that HF5274 be re-referred to the State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair Stephenson moved the A4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
