CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Dave Pinto, Chair of the Children and Families Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:31 A.M. on February 20th, 2023, in Room 200N of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Keeler moved that the minutes from February 15, 2024 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation titled “Impact of 2023 Funding to Address Food Insecurity”.

HF 3426 (Hicks) Supplemental food assistance program establish for persons with a disability.

Representative Hicks moved to bring HF 3426 before the committee.

Representative Hicks presented HF 3426.

HF 3469 (Keeler) SNAP established as medicine program, and money appropriated.

Vice Chair Keeler moved the A1 Amendment, THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice Chair Keeler moved to bring HF 3469 as amended before the committee.

Vice Chair Keeler presented HF 3469 as amended.
