Representative Rick Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on February 20, 2024, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Heintzeman moved to approve the minutes from February 14, 2024. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3326 (Hemmingsen-Jaeger); Environment; mercury-containing lighting banned.

Chair Hansen moved that HF3326 be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce Finance and Policy.

Chair Hansen moved to adopt the A24-0204 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hemmingsen-Jaeger presented HF3326, as amended.

HF3368 (Hansen, R.); Notification and local approval required before use of money from closed landfill investment fund and metropolitan landfill contingency action trust account.

Chair Hansen moved that HF3368 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Hansen presented HF3368.

Representative Jordan moved that HF3577 be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce Finance and Policy.

Representative Jordan moved to adopt the DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Jordan presented HF3577, as amended.
